Thats wiley, the previous motorcycle owner. Hes awesome. He got out of his truck wearing shorter shorts then Ive ever worn and had a 6 pack of miller genuine draft in his right hand. The first thing he said to me was, "Hey man want a beer or something!?" I printed these last night in the darkroom but they look different after the scan. more to come.

I drove back to the beach this weekend because I bought a motorcycle. Balls told me he had made thrashmore pretty interesting and fun so I brought my bike. It was fun as shit, kinda ghetto kinda bumpy but also really fun. thats what matters to me. Christian was slaying some trails, thats good to see and makes it easier for us to hang on bikes, although I might be dabbling in street. We spent 5 hours or so back there, balls, pee wee, christian and I. Then cory showed up and took some pictures and hung like the dude he is. what a great day. The next day I bought a 1969 bsa victor. pictures of that soon. I love bikes. Sounded like a bunch of VB and Richmond dudes had fun this weekend too but I couldnt make it out because of the motorcycle thing, I did stop by and eat a burger though. I love the east coast, you can drive a few hours and see a ton of awesome people along the way, see different land and do different things. In texas I felt stuck. Here I feel awesome, I love Virginia!

After posting that last one...I got kinda mad about my bike neglect so I went down to the trails and took care of business. Jumped it. I feel better now...except for that huge meatball sub I just ate. I also got an amazing text message from my room mate today. "wanna go dig today" my room mate does not ride bikes. how awesome is that. he likes to dig and hang in the woods. someone give him a bike. also good news is I hear balls, pee wee, craig and maybe even christian are digging at thrashmore again. Craig sent me a video I'll try to post it. schmerrrrrrrr

My bike is not too stoked on me right now. I ride it to class and do manuals down this hill on the way. It hasnt been in the woods in a week and the last time it was in the woods its owner was being a weirdo. Its hard not to think of the consequences of breaking a bone right now while im in school for music (classical guitar). Needless to say Im also busy with 7 classes and this intense urge to buy an old motorcycle. Hopefully I'll get digging and start jumping more soon. If I get the BSA my bike bike is going to really feel like im cheating. Sunday is the day I kick start that thing...

So Im at radford and school started today. I think everything is going to be just fine. I started digging at the trails. Its insanely amazing dirt wise. I just dont get it. I just dont get it! you can make a jump in a day... like legit size launch and landing... one day. youre digging with brownie mix. No roots. perfect wetness. Guys gotta come up. I'll post pics soon! Also I got a sick house. Im living right next to a graveyard its epic! If anyone wants to come live with me do it for as long as you want. rent is only 275 a month. come stay till it gets cold at least shit!
I had been in Austin for basically a year and a half...a week after getting back to virginia beach I decided it was time to go back to college for a year. here are some pictures from the last night of skating the bowl before leaving. miller highlife, josh, nick, cory, balls...numerous other amazing guys inside the house. It was nice. Im still glad to be back in virginia. I love it here. Most of these pictures were taken by cory grandfield. see his stuff here. gallery.me.com/corygfield. Also thanks again steve for building this thing. Id say its the only skate ramp I care about.
