Florida Keys 35mm
Here are some Slides from the Florida Keys Road Trip spent with an inspirational friend and teacher - Stewart Ferebee. All shot with no light meter - after a lot of thought, reading and discussion. Ive been trying to shoot like that since this trip. I think about this EV light scale and the 125 / f16 ratio daily while looking around. I always want to feel connected to the things I am doing and for some reason holding onto the camera as the film soaks up the image helps me feel like whatever is in front of me is being painted somewhere. Newest Virga Tunes
These were taken the day after we all got to play a show together again here in Virginia. My semi current music project, Sea Voyage played with some of my most impressive / long time musical and best friends I have. Soft Natural colors, great food at the New Belmont in Norfolk, and a full jam ending the show. Please check out the links to some of their music projects, you too might like it.

Van Life / WRV / Sebastian Inlet 35mm
WRV Van Run to all of our Accounts in Florida. We were lucky enough to run into waves the entire trip, Head High Sebastian Inlet here. Plenty of barrels to go around. However the fire department was doing a controlled burn on the beach, so those were some smokey and interesting tubes. I wasn't planning on shooting surf so all the angles are quite wide (however John CSB these are for you!) The shaped blanks are John Lucas' first shapes for WRV that we brought back to have glassed and finished off at the factory. Look forward to seeing him as another great addition to the shaper line up with WRV. Stuff your iphone up yerr ass - 35mm Expired Slide Film / Cross Processed.

Hurricane Irene 2011 110mm
Hurricane Irene was really great for us. We got ripping waves before and after long nose riders. We had a pretty mean hurricane party at 3502 Holly Rd, while we watched our yard flood bringing back the lost slick lizard body board (har). These were taken while we were in the absolute worst of the storm, "she" (hurricanes have genders apparently) was right over us, so of course it was a good time to go golfing. Reid and I ended up swimming in the water hazards and slid down the hills on our butts while simultaneously playing a 3 hole round of golf.
