I got some winners on this roll. Im stoked I can finally put up pictures that arent from my phone. Once I put them on paper ill post them. Here is the first one, but the paper got funky, ill do it again but heres a start.

I drove back to the beach this weekend because I bought a motorcycle. Balls told me he had made thrashmore pretty interesting and fun so I brought my bike. It was fun as shit, kinda ghetto kinda bumpy but also really fun. thats what matters to me. Christian was slaying some trails, thats good to see and makes it easier for us to hang on bikes, although I might be dabbling in street. We spent 5 hours or so back there, balls, pee wee, christian and I. Then cory showed up and took some pictures and hung like the dude he is. what a great day. The next day I bought a 1969 bsa victor. pictures of that soon. I love bikes. Sounded like a bunch of VB and Richmond dudes had fun this weekend too but I couldnt make it out because of the motorcycle thing, I did stop by and eat a burger though. I love the east coast, you can drive a few hours and see a ton of awesome people along the way, see different land and do different things. In texas I felt stuck. Here I feel awesome, I love Virginia!

Clean
Old Great Neck Trails 1998? This was my first real spot and the beggining of my addiction for finding spots, digging, riding, building teepees and hanging out! This set of woods is now tropical smoothie, ruby tuesdays, central 511, coldstone...all sorts of non squirrel related stores. Bummer.
Jeff Nicholson at radford trails. Note how green! Im moving back there on wednesday to finish my music degree, so I'll be digging there again too. Erik from patriot bikes took over the spot and its looking legit as hell. Jeff was my ultimate trail buddy until he left for paraguay. His bike got stolen too many times though for him to keep his chin up. One day we'll make the funny comedy/documentary on these 2 dudes who build trails together but one of them dosnt even like trails or anything hes just gay and needed an excuse to hangout in the woods with a guy. Such a sketchy story line its almost scary but its perfect. ew. ugh.
Me at ames dead of winter 2004/2005? Im not into winter, and I still cant table for shit but Im not gonna quit riding until I can get them flat. serious.
Every now and then you get in a cycle when you start hanging out with the same dude on a daily basis and its awesome. It happend in austin with derek and ski, we would ride bikes and play music on the daily. insane. Since Ive been home and went to richmond its been balls! We eat chanellos pizza listen to music, ride and stay stoked. On the way home from richmond we rode 2 race tracks and a skatepark. Last night we started digging again at thrashmore, should be real fun. We also put together my old 1" holmes while watching bmx on the olympics, a pretty righteous night especially since balls has been trying to build that bike for 2 years. We took it into the street at 3 am and had fun. I mean it this time WE HAD FUN on our bikes, it wasnt through the motions stuff, we got goofy. I decided I could do a 180 so I tried it, and pulled it off first try, roll out and everything. Real lame to everyone else but, to me Im real stoked. Balls and I just kept laughing and had fun till about 4 am. Im going to try to do a 180 tonight for christians birthday present because he love street and would be amped on me doing one im sure. Im pretty bobo on a bike to be honest, but I really love the creative side of building trails and riding bikes in the woods. Being around kick ass dudes always rules too. So yeah Im having fun in VA and am leaving to go dig at thrashmore. Christian hewitts birthday tonight at POS should be nuts! Virginia is for lovers.
If it had rained more, there would have been way more to build and ride. I moved back to Virginia Beach for the time being, I might go back to school to finish in a year, and fix up my old trails out there. Or I might travel around till spring. But for now the zoo is just hiding out in the woods alone. It has great potential. I hope someone picks up the shovel while Im gone.
I love this picture. We just finished the step down roller thing...it has a pretty big gap, i havnt cleared it yet...but I will. Derek did. Im making a built to spill tape right now for tomorrow's trail events. keep digging. Having Ski, Derek, Matt and Brian around has honestly changed my life. so glad they're here.

Trail population 5. A new record. Ski moved down here from virginia beach bringing with him derek and jay. I couldnt be happier...3 quality dudes from home to hang hard with, smell, ride, be lumberjacks and forget about girls. Life seriously kicks ass right now, its pure dude time and its been going great. We're going to be camping at the trails thursday till--? I cant imagine whats going to get done and go on. Today we cut down all the trees that fell over from the lightning months ago and dug a little for the long jump. Drank coors light again and met one of the dudes who lives in the woods...real cool and loved pizza from NY. bad tattoos. Its dereks birthday and Im trying to celebrate it for at least a week!
Crazy red wasp with blue wings killed massive wolf spider. Then started to drag wolf spider into wasp home inside log at bottom of our landing berm thing.
Me holding sad but dead wolf spider...Im assuming it was sad...it didnt put off a happy dead feel
Matt holding dead sad wolf spider. Note...bug is massive.
A six pack of coors light later and months of working on this landing berm thing its done! Im still soaking wet because it rained a ton today while we dug. I love getting filthy. I fell asleep in the mud and there are still bugs on me but Im happy at least! Right when we finished I grabbed my bike to jump it but I had a flat...thats the 4th flat Ive gotten there. I jumped it when it wasnt done and it was really awesome...now its got to be amazing. Matt also built the next lip / roller dude after this today. Its going to be sorda mellow but have a really long gap. After this landing youre going really fast and downhill. We have to cut the tree down from the lightning storm now to move ahead. chainsaw, more rain, motivation and we'll finally be into the sweet part of the woods and the sweet part of the trails!
