Here are some Slides from the Florida Keys Road Trip spent with an inspirational friend and teacher - Stewart Ferebee. All shot with no light meter - after a lot of thought, reading and discussion. Ive been trying to shoot like that since this trip. I think about this EV light scale and the 125 / f16 ratio daily while looking around. I always want to feel connected to the things I am doing and for some reason holding onto the camera as the film soaks up the image helps me feel like whatever is in front of me is being painted somewhere. I got to photo assist for Stewart Ferebee about a month back for a Coastal Living photo shoot in the Florida Keys.This was on Little Palm Island where the deer swim across and live in Eden for the day. Down Time / Deer Time. Canonet QL 17 using Kodak Ektachrome 100 Slide Film.
